The petition of Randle Blackshaw, William Alcock, and John Dicken, Cheshire, Epiphany 1652

To the ho[noura]ble the Justices of peace for the County of Chester
The humble Petic[i]on of Capt[ain] Randle Blackshaw Ensigne Willia[m] Alcock and John Dicken
Shew vnto yo[u]r ho[nou]rs that yo[u]r petic[i]on[er]s were all vnder the Comand of Col[one]l Henry Bradshaw att the late fight Att Worcester and were any one of them desperatly wounded That yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]rs haue a longe tyme Leyne vnder the hands of Cururgions [sic.] and haue spent very much of thir estats to obteyne health and for as much as yo[u]r petic[io]n[ers] some of them are not yett Cured thir Charge and paines Considered
May it please yo[u]r ho[nou]rs to order such allowance from the publiq[u]e as yo[u]r petic[i]oners shall vpon Just Accompt make it to Appeare they haue dispended paid and are to pay for there Cures and they will pray &c
