The petition of Randall Walker of Little Budworth, Cheshire, 8 July 1662

To the Right Wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace and Quor[um] at the Gen[er]all Quarter Sessions of the peace holden and kept at Namptwich
The humble pet[ition] of Randle Walker of Little Budworth:
<Humbly Sheweth> that yo[u]r pet[itioner[ hath [illegible] for many yeares beene a faithfull and Loyall Soldier vnder his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memory That your pet[itione]r was Sequesturd of that Small estate hee had for many yeares togeather And receiued many dangerous Shotts and desp[er]ate wounds in that Service.
That yo[u]r pet[itione]r was a Soldier and Inlisted vnder the Com[m]and of S[i]r Philip Egerton at the late riseinge for his Ma[jes]tie in this County and there receiued many cutts & wounds to the endangering of yo[u]r pet[itione]rs life.
The pr[e]misses tenderly Considered yo[u]r pet[itione]r humbly prayes that hee may be admitted a penc[i]on[e]r and receaue an Anuall penc[i]on to helpe to releife and maintaine yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r his wife and Children And yo[u]r pet[itione]r as in duty bound shall eu[er] pray &c
