The petition of Phillip de la Planch, residence unknown, 2 February 1649

<Petic[i]on of Phillip de la planch for his brothers arrears.>
To ye Right Hono[ura]ble ye Com[m]ittee for the Army.
The humble petic[i]on of Phillipp de la Planch brother & Executor of Adrian de la planch Troop[er] al[ia]s Andrew de la planch.
Shewing
That yo[u]r pet[tione]rs brother faithfully serued ye parliam[en]t as troop[er] vnder Capt[ain] Foley and Capt[ain] Burges in Col[onel] Butlers form[er]ly, now Col[one]l Hortons Regim[en]t from the begin[n]ing of the new Modell of ye Army vnder the Com[m]and of the Lord Gen[era]ll Fairfax till the 11th of Septemb[e]r 1647 whoe of a wound rec[eive]d in the seruice of ye state is since dead as by Certificate vnder Mr Dunns hand app[ear]eth whoe was rec[eive]d into the Sauoy Hospitall for ye cure of that wound.
Yo[u]r pet[itione]r desireth yo[u]r hono[u]rs to giue order that he may receaue his said Brothers arreares praying further they may be stated by yo[u]r Hono[u]rs as others in the said condition.
And he shall pray &c.

<Att ye Com[mi]ttee of Lords & Com[m]ons for the Army. 2o Feb[ruary] 1648.>

<That ye Com[m]issary Generall of ye Musters or his Deputy doe forthwith certify this Com[mi]ttee how ye pet[itione]rs Brother (whoe was slayne in ye seruice) stands vpon the seu[er]all Musters of the Army & doe affix the same to this petic[i]on>
