To the Kings most Excellent Ma[jes]tie

The humble petic[i]on of Nicholas Simonds, John Fleete, Arthur Chrutchington, & Hugh Capper of the Citty of Worcester

Most humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r petic[i]oners havinge faithfully served yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties Royall father of Blessed memorie in the late warrs & ever since Continued yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties Loyall Subiects and have beene greate Sufferers for theire Loyalty both formerley and alsoe in the late fight at Worcester beinge nowe very aged & Troubled w[i]th divers infermityes by reason of theire service, and all of them vnable to p[ro]vide for themselves & theire families

In Tender Considerac[i]on whereof yo[u]r poore petic[i]oners doe in all humilety most humbley implore yo[u]r sacred Ma[jes]tie in the abundance of yo[u]r princely goodnes to graunt yo[u]r petic[i]oners yo[u]r most gratious Order that they may bee admitted Almesmen or Beadesmen in the Cathedrall Church of Worcester in the places of Richard Parsons Rowland Evans Jeffery Howseman & Roger Biddle the last lawfull Incumbents and all dead, the said places beinge in yo[u]r Sacred Ma[jes]ties guift

And yo[u]r peticoners w[i]th theire destressed Relac[i]ons shall daylie pray for yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties longe and happie Reigne &c.
