To the Right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the peace for the County of Stafford.

The humble petic[i]on of Mary Righton of Rushton in the said county.

<humbly> sheweth that yo[u]r poore petic[io]n[e]rs husband beinge kild in the Parliam[en]t service aga[ins]t Liliston manor beinge vnder the Com[m]aund of Col[one]l Edw[ard] Ashenhurst & shee not able to maintaine her selfe & 2 small children except yo[u]r wor[shi]ps be pleased to Relieue her.

Therefore yo[u]r poore petic[ione]r humbly desires yo[u]r wor[shi]ps wil be pleased to allowe her some reliefe by way of a pens[i]on as others in the like condic[i]on haue & yo[u]r petic[ione]r will dayly pray for yo[u]r wor[shi]ps health and happiness.
