The humble petic[i]on of Mary Ouldhen of Maiden Bradley widdowe.
Sheweth
That y[ou]r Petic[i]oners husband Nicholas Ouldhen faithfully serued the Parliam[en]t in this Countye of Wilts[hire] as a Trooper vnder the seuerall Com[m]ands of Col[one]l Edmund Ludlowe and Capt[ai]n Will[ia]m Ludlowe for w[hi]ch there is much due to him in Arreare as by their certificates hereto annexed doth appeare, and also that he serued the Parliam[en]t in Ireland vnder Leiut[enant] gen[era]ll Ludlowes Command where he lost his life and left y[ou]r Petic[i]oner a poore distressed widdowe and many small children vtterly destitute of liuelyhoode
Y[ou]r Petic[i]oner therefore most humbly prayes this right wor[shi]p[fu]ll Bench that they would be pleased to graunt vnto her such a Pension towards the maintenance of her and her poore fatherlesse children as they in their wisdeomes shall thinke fitt.
And y[ou]r Petic[i]oner shall euer pray &c
