To ye ho[noura]ble ye Comittee for ye County of Derby.

The humble petic[i]on of Mary [illegible] Addams

Sheweth.

that yo[u]r petic[i]oners husband was was [sic.] a souldier in the Regiment att Derby, & slayne att ye seidge against Beauor, her sone likewise a souldier, & there is in areare to her husband & her sone aboue twenty poundes

Yo[u]r petic[i]oner haueing two poore Children & her selfe to mayntaine prayeth some p[ar]t of ye arreares.
