The humble petition of Margarett Loyt widow

Sheweth that yo[u]r petitioner Joseph Loyte was a greate sufferer for his Ma[jes]tie in the late troubles by and by reason of poverty was forced to take an Alehouse and did in his life time hire a house in Northgate called the kings head which is a fitt and convenient house for that purpose & is since dead and hath left your petitioner in a poore condic[i]on

shee humbly prayes that you would grant her a License to keepe an alehouse in the same house called the kings head in the said p[ar]ish of St Mary Northgate and hee [sic.] shall pray &c.
