The petition of Margaret Morgan of Carnarvon, Carnarvonshire, 1660

To ye right woor[shi]p[fu]ll the Justices of ye peace for ye County of Caern[ar]uon
The humble petic[i]on of Margaret ye wife of Jo[h]n Morgan of Caern[ar]uon feltmak[e]r.
Humbly sheweth
That y[ou]r petic[i]oners poore husband was admitted was admitted to haue ye stipend & penc[i]on of three pownds per ann[um] by ye wor[shi]p[fu]ll Justices of this County for ye releife & maintenance of himselfe & his distressed & impotent wife, w[hi]ch were for many yeares duely paid vnto him, excepting ye yeare wherein Mr William Lloyd was appointed Treasurer for ye maimed sould[ie]rs mize, who rec[eive]d for yt yeare rec[eive]d forty shillings ye rest, as y[ou]r petic[i]on[e]r conceiues, with ye s[ai]d Treasur[e]r vnpaid,
May it therefore please y[ou]r woor[shi]ps to take ye pr[e]misses to y[ou]r Graue Considerac[i]on & graunt the way & receiue ye arreares & to continue alloweinge her w[hi]ch y[ou]r woor[shi]ps <shall fit> [sic.] & y[ou]r petic[i]on[e]r shall euer pray &c.
