The petition of Margaret Gruffyth of Llannor, Carnarvonshire, 1660 (1)

To the right woor[shi]p[fu]ll the Justices of the peace of the Countye of Caernaruon.

The humble peticon of Margaret the relict of Hugh Lloyd of Llannor.

Humbly sheweth.

That her husband Hugh Lloyd aforesaid was by the Justices of the peace of County aforesaid admitted & allowed to haue the salary & pencon (being a maimed sould[ie]r of fiue pownd yearely for the reliefe of himselfe, wife & two small children all which were duely paid him by the Treasurers appointed for the payment thereof since his admission, excepting the yeare which Mr William Lloyd of Bodvai & Mr Moris Gruffyth were Treasurers for that purpose of which sume she your peticoner is vnpaid of the sume of one pownd three shillings & six pence.

May itt therefore plese yo[u]r woor[shi]ps to take to consideration the premises to allowe her the arrears & to continue graunting her what stipend yo[u]r wor[shi]ps thinkes fitt & she shall euer pray.
