To the Kings most Excelent Maiestie

The humble petic[i]on of Maior George Collins

Sheweth

That yo[u]r Ma[jes]t[y’]s Pet[itione]r hath faithfully serued yo[u]r Ma[jes]ty from the begining of the vnhappy Warr in England to this pr[e]sent As also in other Countries (both by Sea and Land) and hath therein received divers Wounds haueing still a bullett lodged in his head to the Loss of one of his eys and of late yeares hath been often imprisoned by the late Tyrant Cromwell to the vtter vndoing of yo[u]r pet[itione]r

Hee most humbly beggs yo[u]r Ma[jes]ty that you wil bee graciously pleased to Conferr vpon him the place to bee one of the Serchers of the Custome howse of London or land Waiter

And yo[u]r pet[itione]r as in duty bound shall pray &c
