The petition of Lieutenant Shreene Parker, Ralph Weldon’s Regiment, 19 May 1648

To ye Right hono[ra]ble ye Com[m]itte for ye Army.
ye humble petic[i]on of Shreene Parker Administrat[o]r to Capt[ain] John Munday.
Sheweth
That Capt[ain] John Munday late Capt[ain] of a Foote Company in Col[onel] Weldens Regim[en]t in his Ex[cellen]cies the Lord Fairfax his Army was mortally wounded at Bradway, in the County of Deuon of w[hi]ch wounds the said Capt[ain] there dyed and being much indebted to yo[u]r pet[itione]r for satisfaction whereof hee Freely gaue him all his Arreares.
Now whereas yo[u]r pet[itione]r hath lost his limbes in the said service, and hath very litle to support him in his necessities; most humbly beseecheth yo[u]r hono[u]rs out of yo[u]r accustomed goodnes to giue order for ye stateing of ye Accompte of the said Capt[ain] Munday & payment thereof to yo[u]r pet[itione]r
And he shall eu[er] pray &c.
State the Acc[ount] to the end he may be paid of
<Att ye Com[m]ittee of Lords and Com[m]ons for the Army 19 May 1648.>

<That ye Com[m]issary Generall of ye Musters doe forthwith certify to this Com[m]ittee, how ye pet[itione]r John Munday stands vpon the seu[er]all Musters of ye Army & doe affix the same to this petic[i]on.>
