The petition of Lancellot Kenneston of Canterbury (Holy Cross Parish), City and County of Canterbury, 1654

To ye right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of peace in Sess[ions] for their diuident p[ar]ts of Kent
Lancellot Kenneston of holy Cross of westgate Canter[bury] barbor chirurgion humbly sheweth that where about 2 yeres since p[er] appointem[en]t of Mr Thomas Scot esquier one of ye Bench he tooke in cure one John Tailer a maimed souldier in Scotland warrs, and was recou[er]ed of his hurts and wounds by yo[u]r petic[ioner] and as yet vnsatisfied the chardge vnder written: The pr[e]mises considered that yo[u]r wor[shi]pps wold giue order to yo[u]r Tresuerer to pay him this mony And as duty binds shall eu[er] remaine
