The humble petition of Katherine & Isabella Boynton children to Collon[e]l Mathew Boyton.
<Sheweth>
That y[ou]r Ma[jes]tie haueing bene graciously pleased to expresse y[ou]r willingnesse to relieue y[ou]r pet[itione]rs by y[ou]r gracious referrences to two former petitions in their behalfe; both which became ineffectuall by former grants; soe that y[ou]r Pet[itione]rs are soe much worse then before, that a great part of that little they had left, is consumed in their attendance, their fathers whole Estate both reall & personall being exhausted in the defence of Scarborough Castle which was maintained by him at his owne charge, & in following y[ou]r Ma[ies]ties person, & y[ou]r Ma[jes]ties seruice till hee was slayne in it at Wiggon
Y[ou]r Pet[itione]rs therefore humbly beseech y[ou]r Ma[ies]tie would bee graciously pleased to settle upon ym such an annuall penc[i]on as y[ou]r Ma[ies]tie shall please to thinke fitt for them: They hauing noe other refuge but y[ou]r Ma[ies]ties Royall fauour & bounty
