To the right wor[shi]pfull his Majesties of the Peace for the North Ryding of this County of Yorke

The humble petic[i]on of John Vitty of Beedall

Humbly sheweth

That y[ou]r petic[i]oner is seaventy yeares of age & hath been beene a souldjer in the two late kings Raigne, & is now in this p[re]sent Majesty service und[e]r the Com[m]and of Captaine Bev[er]ley is falne into decay and hath fower smale children & little to releive them on, desires the hono[u]rable Bench to bestow some thing on him towards ye releife of himselfe, wife & children. And he will ever pray &c.
10 s. as a gratuity.
