The humble petic[i]on of John Sigswicke of Ingleton
Sheweth
That yo[u]r pet[itione]r was a soldier vnd[e]r S[i]r John Redmaine in the late vnhappy warrs haueing still continued in his late Ma[jes]tie & his Ma[jes]ties yt now is their service received & received seu[er]all wounds whereby yo[u]r pet[itione]r is very infirme not haueing any thing to releeve himself w[i]thall.
The pr[e]misses considered for as much als that Tho[mas] Hodgson of Ingleton is lately dead who was a pension[e]r May it please yo[u]r good wo[rshi]pps to take yo[u]r poore pet[itione]rs sad condic[i]on into your consid[e]rac[i]ons And to releeve your poore pet[itione]r accordingly And yo[u]r pet[itione]r (as in duty bound) shall eu[er] pray &c
