To the right ho[noura]ble the Judge and Justices of this pr[e]sent Sessions
The humble petic[i]on of John Morrell of Bockinge weaver.
Sheweth
That yo[u]r petic[i]oner havinge bin a Souldjer in the States service att Basinge howse Arnold Castle Sudely Castle Farneham and other places wherein he received many wounds whereby he is disabled to labor for the maintenance of himselfe and his 3 Small Children
That vpon a petic[i]on pr[e]sented to this ho[noura]ble Court att this Easter Sessions was 4 yeares for reliefe yo[u]r hono[u]rs were then pleased to graunt him a yearely penc[i]on of 40s out of the Treasury of this Countie w[hi]ch was paid him 2 yeares by the right wor[shipfu]ll Justice Harlakenden and one yeare by the right wor[shipfu]ll Justice Pelham
That yo[u]r pet[itione]r leavinge his Order in the said Justice Pelhams hands The said Justice Pelham refuseth to refuseth to redeliver the same backe to yo[u]r pet[itione]r.
That yo[u[r pet[itione]r beinge vnable to Subsist w[i]thout it He humbly prayeth That the said Order may be redeliv[er]ed him Or otherwise as this ho[noura]ble Court to their grave wisdomes Shall seeme meete.
For w[hi]ch yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner Shall eu[er] pray &c
