To the Right Wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties justices of the peace assembled at their generall Quarter sessions in the Castle of Exon.

The petition of John Maudet of Bradninch in the County affores[ai]d.

Humbly sheweth that yo[u]r Petitioner served his Late Ma[jes]tie of Blessed Memory in the Late warres as a cornet in Captaine Fulfords Troope and in the Regiment of the Lord Berkely and before Lime and in other service & engagements with the enemy received many woundes according to the certificate hereto annexed whereby he is disabled to get his Livelyhood.

Wherefore he humbly prays that yo[u]r Wor[shi]pes wil be pleased to graunt him a pention as you have done to others in his Condition & he shall ever pray for yo[u]r Wor[shi]pes prosperity.

We believe this petition and desire the petitioner may have a pention.
