The Humble petic[i]on of John Entwisle, Robert Bradshaw, Alexander Bradshaw, James Cockerill & Ann Bradshaw widdow. Elizabeth Bradshaw Bradley, widdow all of Great Boulton.
Humbly sheweth
Vnto yo[u]r good wor[shi]ps That the said fower men herein menc[i]oned and the husbands of the said widdows haue serued his late Majesty in the late warrs wherin the said widows husbands were slayn and the other fower so wounded that they are disinabled to gett their liuelihood through their own Industery, and are for want of a further supply haueinge but Tenn shillings a peece allowed them yearly brought into greate pouerty) and vnles yo[u]r wor[shi]pps Comiserate their Condic[i]on are like to starue, many that were in pay w[i]th theis yo[u]r petic[i]oners are now dead and so wee hope yo[u]r wor[shi]pps will supply vs according to our poore Condic[i]ons
May it therefore please yo[u]r wor[shi]pps to graunt vnto yo[u]r petic[i]oners such further supply towards their Extreame necessities as yow in yo[u]r descrec[i]ons shall think fitt
And yo[u]r petic[i]oners as in duty bound will euer pray &c
