The Humble petic[i]on of John Entwisle, Robert Bradshaw, Alexander Bradshaw and James Cockerell all of Bolton
Humbly sheweth
That yo[u]r poore petic[i]oners beinge maimed in his Ma[jes]ties service in the late vnhappy warrs and not haueinge a sufficent allowance towards their support and mantaynance out of the moneys Colle{ct}ed for the releefe of maimed souldiers, are in a very poore and distressed Condic[i]on, Yo[u]r petic[i]oners haue made [illegible] their adresse to this wor[shi]p[fu]ll Bench for fower sessiones last past and haue Every tyme beene putt in hopes by yo[u]r wor[shi]pps of a further supply but as yet never obtayned an Order of the Court. there is only these fower liveinge of Six who haue formerly petic[i]oned in this behalfe Theref{ore} yo[u]r poore petic[i]oners Humbly crave that if there be no [illegible] Considerable thinge to bee further graunted yet that yo[u]r wor{ships} would bee pleased to Order that the twenty shillings a yeare which was paid to the two deceased to witt Edward Wood and Ann Bradsha{w} may from henceforth bee allowed for the further helpe and releefe of these yo[u]r petic[i]oners
