To the Wors[hip]f[u]ll John Beare Esq[uire] and the rest of the Wor[ship]f[u]ll Justices of the peace of this County

The Humble Petition of John Denbowe, of Moretonhampsted

Humbly sheweth

That your poore Petition[e]r being an old Souldier vnder the Commaund of Capt[ain] Hugh Stawell, Esq[uire] against Plymouth, and Wounded there in the late vnhappie warr, And being now old and decriped, and not able to helpe himselfe, Desires that your Wors[hi]pps would giue him some releife out of the County stock, as an yearly Pention, And yo[u]r poore Petitio[ne]r shall ever pray &c
