To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the peace this present Sessions Assembled

The humble petic[i]on of John Busbie a poore wounded and maimed souldier.

Sheweth

That yo[u]r pe[titione]r hath faithfully served & adventured his life in the service of the Com[m]on wealth: ag[ains]t the Com[m]on Enemie, both in Scotland & in this nation; in w[hi]ch said service hee hath bin wounded, and maimed, and lost one of his eyes, at the fight at Worcester: whereby hee is disabled to gett his Liveing by his Calling.

Humbly prayeth this Co[u]rt to Order A Competent pention, to be allowed vnto him; according to the act of Parl[iamen]t: as to other souldiers in the like case hath bin granted. thereby to help him in his greate necessity:

And hee shall as in duty (hee is never the lesse bound) ever pray &c
