To the Right Wor[shi]p[fu]ll The Justices of Peace for the County of Somersett

There is a certaine some of money Which is a penc[i]on of six pounds p[er] ann[um] due to me, w[hi]ch by reason of the losse of my Ord[e]r was delayed payment but being now admitted againe at Easter was twelve Month, there remaines as yett due unpaid to yo[u]r poore peticion[e]r Pencon[e]r the some of 7 li. 10 s. for five q[uarte]rs, by reason of the want whereof he & his Children are ready to pereish, haueing had a long time of Lamenes and being in ye Hospitall Therefore yo[u]r poore and distressed Pencon[e]r humbly desires yt yo[u]r wor[shi]pps will be pleased to ord[e]r some speedy way for the payment thereof, for the releife of yo[u]r pen said Pencon[e]r

And yo[u]r poore pencon[e]r & his 8 Children shall be ever bound to pray &c.
