To the Right Wo[rshipfu]ll his Maj[es]tties Justices of the Peace for the County of Denbigh.

The Humble Petition of John ap Richard of the p[ar]ish of Ruabon

Humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r petitioner hath beene A Souldier in his Late Maj[es]tties Seruice vnder the Comand of Capt[ain] John Edwards and that he Receaued seuerall wounds & Maimes in the s[ai]d seruice & Continued in the sayd Seruice firme & stedfast to the End and neuer revolted as appears by the anexed Certifficatte and by Reason of his integritye & Reallty to his Maj[es]tie, he was vehomently abused and tormented by his implacable Enemies in soe much that he is become now a great Obiect of Charitie haueinge A Wife & three small Children and hath not anythinge to Releeue them

The premises Concidered may it please yo[u]r Wors[hi]pps to grant yo[u]r Pettitioner A Pension accordinge to his Maj[es]ties late Act of Parlyament in that behalf and yo[u]r Pettitioner shall Euer Pray &c

11 July ordered that the petic[i]on[er] be admitted in the first vacant place.
