To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of peace of the Countie of Carn[ar]von the submissive suite & petition of John ap John Lewis.

Humbly sheweth:

That wheras yo[u]r petitioner hath done service in warre for his countrie for the space of nine yeares, at Ireland, Scotland [illegible] & now being poore & aged, & not haueing wherwithall to maintaine himselfe desireth that yo[u]r wor[shi]ps be pleased to Comiserat his distressed case & to allow him some maintenance & reliefe out of the maimed souldiers=mize, as formerly y[ou]r pet[itione]r was wont to haue, within these ten yeares & y[ou]r humble pet[itione]r will euer pray for y[ou]r wor[shi]ps future happines & pr[os]peritie
