The humble petition of Johanna Barnard late wife of John Barnard late of the said Citty Tayler dec[ease]d
Sheweth
That your petitioners said husband John Barnard by the order of this Court was allowed a pe pention of forty shillings a yeare hee being a souldier for his late Ma[jes]tie king Charles the first of Blessed memory and hauing suffored much for his said Ma[jes]tie in the late vnhappy times to his vtter ruin and being a very poore man that your petitioners said husband is lately dead and hath left her in a very poore condic[i]on
shee humbly prayes that you would be pleased to com[m]iserate her said condic[i]on and to grant her the said continuance of the said pention And shee shall ever pray &c
