To the right wor[shipfu]ll his ma[jes]ties Justices of ye peace & Quoru[m] Att this pr[e]sent Sessions held at Orms[kir]k ye 17th day of July in Anno d[o]m[in]i 1677
The Humble pet[ition] of James Dandie of Tarlton Indig[en]t soldier
Sheweth that yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r haueing searved his ma[jes]tie of ever blessed memory dec[eased] in ye Late vnfortunate warr For many yeares & never disearted both in Engl[and] & out & in ye time of ye s[ai]d warrs was very much disabled by being shott into ye body besids other hurts & haueing very smale or no estate to Liue vpon and onely tenn shillings a yeare paid him out of Lealand Hundred being a very smale portion for yo[u]r pet[itione]rs Great wants Humbly desires yt yo[u]r pet[itione]rs pention may be Augmented in regard of his great wants & sufferings.
The pr[e]misses Considered may it please yo[u]r good worships to Augm[en]t yo[u]r poore pet[itione]rs pention & grant him an order to the treasurer of Lealand Hundred: for a bett[e]r pention & as in duty bound yo[u]r pet[itione]r will for ever pray.
wee recomend the Petitioner to the Justices of the hundred of Leyland and [illegible] desyre hee may bee Augmented,
