The petition of James and Elizabeth Bliniley of Timperley, Cheshire, Easter 1646

To the hon[oura]ble right wor[shi]p[fu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices at this present Sessions assembled

The humble peticion of James Bliniley & Elizabeth his wife of Timp[er]ley in the County of Chester

Sheweth that yo[u]r poore petic[i]oners are weake in estate & want harbor for them selves & three small Children & one in [?vtuter] that therefore vnlesse some speedy course bee taken yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[er]s & there Children are likely to bee starved or p[er]ish for want of harbor.

Yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[er]s therefore humbly pray & for that yo[u]r petic[i]on[er] James Bliniley hath ever since the beginning of the pr[e]sent Warrs for the kings Ma[jes]tie & the Parliam[en]t [illegible] faithfully carryed & demeaned him selfe as a faithfull souldier in the sayde service, that therefore yo[u]r wor[shi]ps would bee pleased to give ord[e]r that a Cottage shall bee settled in some convenient place vppon the wast in Timp[er]ley afores[ai]d or in Bowden p[ar]ish els where by & w[i]th the consent of the Cheefe lord & owners thereof & yo[u]r petic[i]on[er]s will ever pray &c

S[i]r George is content that a Cottage be erected & that when his Children atteyne the age of [illegible] 16 yeares & then the same to be pulled downe.
