The petition of Isabella Boynton, unknown residence, September 1660

To the kings most Excellent Ma[jes]tie
The humble petition of Isabella Boynton widdow of Collonell Mathew Boynton
Humbly Sheweth
That yo[u]r Ma[jes]tie was graciously pleased vpon a former petition That the Mannors of Clymsland and Landulph should be demissed to yo[u]r petition[e]r for the present support of her and her two Children in consideration of the losse of the whole estate reall and personall of her late husband who held out the Castle of Scarbrough for yo[u]r Ma[jes]tie vpon his owne expences and ever after followed yo[u]r Ma[jes]tie till he was slayne at Wiggon dischargeing himselfe honorably in that Action But those Landes not being vsally demissed yo[u]r petition[e]r is disappoynted off that releife to her greate damage and Charge and soe forced by this second petition to begg that
Yo[u]r sacred Ma[jes]tie would be graciously pleased to grant to yo[u]r petition[e]r those leases of the Mannor of Bilsworth in the County of Northampton which are already expired with the appurtenances thereto belonging together with the Reversion of those yet in being for the tearme of one and thirty yeares vnder the Ancient rents and Covenants as was payd to yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties Royall Predecessors.
And yo[u]r petition[e]r as in duty bound shall ever pray.
