To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace assembled at this generall Sessions holden for this County of Devon

The humble peticon Isaack Dyer a maimed Souldier

Humbly sheweth

That your Peticoner hath been a true and Loyall Subiect vnto his Late Sacred Ma[jes]tie of ever blessed memory and being a Souldier in his Service, was vnder the command of S[i]r Henry Carey then his Colonell and was wonded at Newberry fight in his right legge yet by Gods providence escaped and though in great paine returned to St Thomas where hath since remained, he hath still continued a loyall subiect to his sacred Ma[jes]tie that now is, and remaineth now in great want and extremity hath a wife and a great charg of children is not able as formerly to Labour for the maintainance of himselfe and family, the truth whereof yo[u]r Peticoner can sufficiently evidence by those whose names are herevnder written

In tender commiserac[i]on of the pr[e]misses your Peticoner humbly prayeth your Wor[shi]ps that you would be pleased to grant him a continuall pension for the maintainance of himselfe his poore wife and family.

And yo[u]r peticoner shall ever pray &c
