To the Right Worshipfull their Ma[jes]tyes Justices of the Peace of this County

The Humble Petition of Hugh Wolcott of the Parish of Bouey Tracy in the County of Devon weauer

<Humbly sheweth>

That your Petitioner is a very Poore man Aged seaventy four years and vpwardes, and was a soldier in the Late vnhappy Civill warres, for our Late Soueraigne Lord King Charles the first of Blessed memory, vnder the Command of Major Francis Thomas Fulford, and was with him when he was Killed att the seige of Exon, and after his Death was a soldier vnder Captain Gideon Walrond of Alfinton in this County, and in the said warres Receiued seuerall woundes, and is now in a uery poor Distressed Condition

Wherefore your Poor Petitioner humbly Prayes your Worships too allowe him a Pention out of the County Stock and as in all duty bound he shall euer pray &c.
