The humble Petic[i]on of Hugh Hutchinson of Church Minshull

Humbly Sheweth

That whereas yo[u]r Petic[i]on[e]r hath been a great Sufferer in his Ma[jes]ties late warrs in England vnd[e]r the Com[m]and of Capt[ain] Robert Horton who hath been at many great & dangerous battles & was exposed to much hardship and being bow of a meane & Lowe Estate haueing a Charge of wife & Children to maintaine

May it therefore please yo[u]r Worshipps to take his Condic[i]on into yo[u]r Charitable Considerac[i]on & to admitt him a Penc[i]on[e]r & to allowe what Penc[i]on yo[u]r wo[r]shipps please & hee as in duty bounde will eu[er] pray &c
