To the R[igh]t w[o]r[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of peace at the Quarter Sessions held at Wigan
The humble petic[i]on of Henry Trauers of Sutton in the Parish of Prescott
Shewing
That yo[u]r pet[itione]r was hertofore a soldier in his late Ma[jes]t[y]s seruice and therin was so Cutt and wounded not onelie of his hands but also diuers other p[ar]ts of his Body that he was rendred vnable & vnfitt to worke for his living: he having nothing of maintenance or liuelihood to support him his wief & Children.
May it therfore please yo[u]r w[o]r[shi]ps to Graunt vnto yo[u]r pet[itione]r such order for his releefe & maintenance as yo[u]r w[o]r[shi]ps shall thinke meet And he will Daylie pray &c.
We whose names are subscribed well knoweing the pet[itione]r do herby Certify that we conceiue the substance of the petic[i]on aboue written is true
