To the Right Wor[shi]p[fu]ll his Maiesties Justices of the Peace sitting at the Generall Quarters Sessions holden at Arundell the vii th of Aprill 1662
The humble Petic[i]on of Henry Ansell of Fishborne Taylor
Humbly sheweth
That your poore Petic[i]oner was a souldier fower yeares in his Maiestyes fathers service in which service hee received severall wounds w[hi]ch hath soe disinabled him that your petic[i]oner cannot follow his calling by w[hi]ch meanes hee his wife and familie doth much suffer.
His humble request to your Worshipps is That you would take his sadd Condic[i]on into your serious Considerac[i]on and to graunt him a yearely Pension that thereby hee may bee the better enabled to provide for himselfe and family if it shall please your Worshipps to graunt
Hee and his family shal bee bound to pray etc.
a pention of 40 s. granted to ye pet[it]ioner from Lady day vntill further order to be paid yearly
