The petition of Henery Traunter of Hereford (St Owen’s Parish), Herefordshire, 1667

To the Right worshippfull

The Maior and the rest of the worthey Bench;

Whereas at an order at sesions Before the maior and the rest of the Justices of peece (granted) that Henery Traunter of the parish of St: Owens was to haue the proportion of 8 d. a weeke paid him out of the parish twoewards his mainetenaunce: but now he hath not receaued one peney not this quarter of a yeare: whereby yo[u]r poore peticioner is in great want by reason of his age and therefore yo[u]r poore petic[io]nor desires that this may bee a littell looked after and he wil be Euer bound to pray for yo[u]r worships wellfare.

ordered yt ye Petic[i]oner shall have his arreares & his former order continued.
