The petition of Habucock Holton of Warminster, Wiltshire, Michaelmas 1650

To the hono[ura]ble the Justices of peace for the County of Wilts[hire] the humble petic[i]on of Habucock Holton of the towne of Warminster

humbly sheweth

that y[ou]r petic[i]oner faithfully seruinge the p[ar]liament is vnhappily depriued of his sight by a shot in his eyes to the vtter ruen of him & his poore family

Wherfore hee humbly prayeth that not hauinge any subsistance y[ou]r hono[u]rs would bee pleased to settle a yearly penc[i]on to releeue y[ou]r poore petic[i]oner out of this his extreame myserie

And y[ou]r petic[i]oner shall eu[er] pray &c
