The humble petic[i]on of Gyles Hadwen of Lancaster

Sheweth

That yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]r is a poore ould man and lame beinge not able for to worke, and had his Sonne slayne in the States seruice, w[hi]ch was a great losse to yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]r, now in his ould age when hee is not able for to releiue himselfe

May it theirfore please yo[u]r wor[shi]pps for to take the pr[e]misses into yo[u]r graue Considerac[i]ons and to grant yo[u]r wor[shi]pps order forth of this wor[shi]p[ful] Court where by yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]r may haue releife and he as in duty bound will euer pray
