The petition of Griffith ap Richard of Gwersyllt, Denbighshire, 12 April 1670

To the right wor[shi]pful his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace for the County of Denbigh att their quarter sessions held att Wrexham the 12th of Aprill An[n]o 1670
The humble petic[i]on of Griffith ap richard of Gwersyllt.
Sheweth That yo[u]r peti[ti]o[ne]r hath served a souldier in Capt[ain] John Lloyds company of Plase Ennion vnder the com[m]and of Col[one]l John Robinson and after served vnder Capt[ain] Isacke Daniell at Carnarvon of the same Regement. Yo[u]r peti[ti]o[ne]r is grown aged & indigent being vncapable of releiuing himselfe by his labor as formerly
He therfore humbly prayes yo[u]r admittance of him a Pensioner to receiue such releife as to yo[u]r Wors[hi]ps shall be thought convenient & yo[u]r peti[ti]o[ne]r shall ever pray etc.
