The petition of Grace Wascoate of Eyves a poore distressed Widdow.

Humbly

Sheweth that y[ou]r peitionars late husband James Wascoate was a Souldiar for our late Soveraigne of blessed memory vnder the Com[m]and of Sir Thomas Tindesley and beeinge in pouertie had a yearly allowance towards his releefe As the law in that cause p[ro]uides.

May it therefore please y[ou]r Worshippes to tacke into y[ou]r considerations the poore & needie estate of y[ou]r petitionar (a distressed Widdow) And allow her the like stipant yearly as her husband had or what in y[ou]r wisdom shall bee thought meete & y[ou]r petitionar as in duty bound shall daly pray &c
