To the Hon[oura]ble the Comittee for the Acco[un]ts of the Kingdome
The humble petic[i]on of George Walker
Sheweth that yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r hath formerly serued ye state vnder the Com[m]and of the Earle of Essex, & vnder ye Earle Manchester [sic.], with his owne horse and armes in the place of one of his life guard, for all w[hi]ch Seruice yo[u]r peticon[e]r hath had but a Smale parte of his paye, and by his attendance in the foresaid seruice hee hath bine very much pr[e]judeced in his helth and calling, yo[u]r peticon[e]r hauing a wife & charge and wanting imploym[en]t in his calling for his owne and theire better Subsistance
His humble Suite is for Some imploym[en]t yt hee may not bee a Subjecte of misery: and an objecte of Scorne: to those w[hi]ch are disaffected and carry a way ye trading
And hee shall pray & Prayes god for you.
