To the wo[rshi]pfull Ju[stic]e Beare esq[ui]re & other the Justices att the pr[e]sent gen[er]all Sessions of the peace assembled.
The humble Petic[i]on of George Hall of Christow, a maimed souldier It humbly sheweth
That yo[u]r petic[i]oner was for severall yeares a souldier in the service of his late Ma[jes]ty of blessed memory vnder the Com[m]and of Captaine Waltham & others and in the same service received severall woundes. In soe much that by reason thereof & of his hard service in Lyeinge in the field & otherwise, yo[u]r petic[i]oner now in his old age, haveinge nothinge left whereby to subsist, is vtterly disabled to gett his Liveinge.
May it therefore please yo[u]r w[o]r[shi]ppes to give yo[u]r petic[i]oner a pension yearely out of the stocke of this County, as yo[u]r w[o]r[shi]ppes, in this behalfe, in yo[u]r Discretione are wont to doe
And yo[u]r peticoner as in all Duty bound shall ever pray &c.
