The petition of George Bartlett of Willesborough, Kent, 1650

To the Right worship[fu]ll the Justices of the peace, holding this Hon[our]abl[e] Court of Sessions in Canterburie
The humble Peticion of George Bartlett of willseburrow in this Countie of Kent Baskett maker: Sheweth
That where as your poore Petitioner Hath foremerly beene necessetated to make his addresse to your worshipps for some reliefe; for the sustayneing of himself his wife & sixe children The For yt your poore peticioner in p[er]formeing his charge in the publike seruices at Shorne Clift in this Countie, sustayne{d} such hurt in the said seruice where by hee is much Disabled in his calleing; which thing your worships haueing foremerly taken into considerac[i]on haue to the great comfort of your poore petitioner caused sume reliefe to be giuen him, for which hee is humbly thankefull, And doth humbly pray your worships will be pleased to appoynt him sume constant allowance as your worshipps shall thinke fitt to be giuen to your poore petitioner euery Sessions holden here at Canterburie for the Countie
And hee shall be bound to pray
The Tre[asure]r for maymed Sould[ie]rs to pay x s. in hand & xx s. p[er] Annu[m] by halfe yearlie paym[en]t vntill ordered to the contrary.
