To ye right hono[oura]ble ye Com[m]ittee for the Army ye humble petic[i]on of Frances Cox Adm[inistrat]rix to her husband Wil[lia]m Cox Trumpeter.

Sheweth

That yo[u]r pet[itione]rs husband serued ye p[ar]liam[en]t service as Trumpett to Capt[ain] Foley, after Capt[ain] Burgesse Troope in Col[one]l Butlers now Col[one]l Hortons Reg[imen]t & by reason of a sicknesse he gott in ye said service came to ye Savoy & there dyed of it, as p[er] seu[er]all Certificates will appeare.

Yo[u]r pet[itione]r being left in a sad condic[i]on by meanes thereof, prayeth yo[u]r hono[u]rs to order ye paym[en]t of his Arreares

And she shall pray &c.

Att ye Com[m]ittee of Lords & Com[m]ons for the Army 19o. June: 1648.

Ordered

That ye Com[m]issary Gen[era]ll of ye Musters or his Deputy doe forthwith certify that Com[m]ittee how ye pet[itione]rs husband stood vpon the seu[er]all Musters of ye Army & doe affix the same to ye petic[i]on
