To the Right wor{shipf}ull the Justices of the peace of this County of Denbigh & c

The {hum}ble petic[i]on of Evan Parry of the p[ar]ish of Llanrrhayoder with{in} the County of Denbigh. Shewinge vnto yo[u]r worshiep that he hath bine a true and a faithfull Soldier in the service of the late kinge Charles of blessed memory for the space of foure yeares and aboue in the Regiment of Colonel Salusbury of Leweny and vnder the Comand of Captaine John Salusbury of Llawessoge att Brainford, Bristow, Gloster, vise, and was taken prissner att EachHill and remained thire maymed for a longe tyme And that yo[u]r poore pettic[i]oner is now charged with a wife and three small children and haveinge non wherewith he may subsist but only the benevolence of well disposed people And yo[u]r poore pettic[i]oner desireth to your worsheep to allow him some of the maymed souldiers mize towards his pr[e]sent and future releefe and yo[u]r poore pettic[i]oner shall ever pray for yo[u]r preservac[i]on longe to continue
