Sheweth to your wor[shi]ps that your Petic[i]on[e]rs husband aboute 3 yeares since was prest into Ireland for the service of this Comonwealth & left behind him your poore petic[i]on[e]r & one little Child & noe thinge for them to live vpon soe that now they are destitute both of habitac[i]on & liuelyhood & vnles your wor[shi]ps grant yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[e]r some reliefe yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[e]r & her Child are like to bee lost

All w[hi]ch considered yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r humbly craues yo[u]r wor[ship]s to grant your ord[e]r to the Churchwardens of Manch[este]r p[ar]ish to p[ro]uide for yo[u]r pet[itione]r & her Child & your pet[itioner] will pray
