The humble petic[i]on of Ellin Broome vid[ua]

Sheweth

That Richard Brome yo[u]r petic[i]one[e]rs husband was a souldier vnder the Com[m]and of Col[one]l William Daniell and vpon his march towards Scotland died in the farthest p[ar]ts of Lankeshire and hath left yo[u]r petic[i]on[er] in a very sad and forlorne Condic[i]on She beinge 60ty yeares of Age that the petic[i]on[er]s Late husband eue[r] served in the Parliam[en]ts service from the beginninge of these distracc[i]ons the pr[e]mises Considered.

May it please yo[u]r wor[shi]pps to grant yo[u]r petic[i]on[er] some Releife from the Treasurer of this County for her subsistance whoe otherwise is likely to starue and she will eu[e]r pray &c
