To The Right Worshipfull the Justices of ye Peace now Assembled in Canterbury

The Humble Petition of Elizabeth Vadry of the said Cittie widdow

Sheweth

That yo[u]r petitioners husband being A soldiers in ye Parliaments seruice was goeing between England and Ireland in ye said seruice drowned by reason of w[hi]ch yo[u]r poor petitioner is w[i]th her Famyly left in A mean Condic[i]on

May it therefore please yo[u]r worships to bestow on her what in yo[u]r wisdoms shall seeme meete for her better subsistence

And shee shall euer Pray &c
