The Humble Pettic[i]on of Edward Sudell of Fishwiche, Roger Walmesley of same, Will[ia]m Wigins, John Broughill & Will[ia]m Dry for and on the behalfe of themselues & others whose names are vnd[e]rwriten.

In all humillitie Sheweth

That yo[u]r poore Pett[itione]rs haue faithfully served his late Ma[jes]tie of euer blessed memory, in the late vnhappie warrs and theerein Rec[eive]d manie greevious maymes and wownds, And soe by yo[u]r worr[shi]pps ord[e]r were admited Pension[e]rs as maimed Sold[i]ers. But soe it is may it please yo[u]r wor[shi]ps that the sumes ord[e]red for yo[u]r pett[itioner]s are soe very small that they are noe waies able to liue vpon them w[i]th all the other helpes they haue. And that there are seu[e]rall pens[i]on[er]s to the number of 14 or 15 p[er]sons dead in this p[ar]t of the hundred of Amound[e]rnes w[i]thin this two yeares, And yet yo[u]r poore Pett[itione]rs pensions not augmented a peny.

The pr[e]misses consid[e]red May it please yo[u]r good worr[shi]pps to cast yo[u]r [illegible] Eyes vpon vs & to take some speciall course herein for yo[u]r pett[itione]rs further releefe in the p[re]misses and that yo[u]r wor[shi]ps would ord[e]r that the late Receiu[er]s & collectors for the said money might Accompt before yo[u]r worr[shi]pps for the same (for as yo[u]r pett[itione]rs conceiues) [illegible] the Shares & p[ar]tes w[hi]ch belonged to the p[er]sons dec[ease]d lyes in the said treasurrers hands vndisposed of & if it were aded to yo[u]r pett[itione]rs pay wold very reasonably sufice them of or some other way w[hi]ch yo[u]r worr[shi]ps thinkes most meet for yo[u]r poore pettic[i]oners further releeife herein. And yo[u]r pett[itioner]s as in all duty bound shall every pray &c
