To ye Kings Most Exelent Majesty

The humble pe{ti}cion of Edward Price of Bedowin in ye Isle of Anglesey Gent[leman]

Sheweth

That yo[u]r pet[itione]r hath suffered much in paying great & many debts for his Brother concerned at ye Short Warr at Salisbury for yo[u]r Ma[jes]tie for w[hi]ch hee suffered long Imprisonm[en]t and death yo[u]r pet[itione]r being left heire to his Debts & loyalty though hee hath paid the first (to his great detrim[en]t) Contracted in yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties service, shal alwayes, as in duty bound pay the latter.

That the post Ma[ste]rs place of Holyhead in Anglesey is now in possession of Major Swift alwayes actually in Rebellion ag[ains]t his late Ma[jes]tie, and put in by the late Oliuer Cromwell

May it please yo[u]r sacred Ma[jes]tie to take the pr[e]misses into Consideration and to Graunt yo[u]r pet[itione]r a patent for the Executing of the post Ma[ste]rs place in Holyhead wherein yo[u]r pet[itione]r will faithfully demeane himselfe

And as in duty bound shall euer pray &c
