The humble Petition of Edward Halle of Namptw[i]ch in the Countye of Chester.

Humblye Sheweth.

That yo[u]r petitioner hath beine a Faithfull souldier vnto his maiestye kinge Charles the First, vnder the Com[m]and of S[i]r Charles Vauesor in Ireland and alsoe in England. And likewise vnto his maiestye kinge Charles that Now is vnder the Com[m]and of Captaine Richard Minshull att the Fight att Winnington {and} in w{hi}ch seruices hee hath receaued seuerall wounds w[hi]ch a{re} playnelye to bee seene. And yo[u]r poore petitioner humbl{y} prayes that yo[u]r Wor[sh]ips would be pleased t{o admit} him a pentioner. And hee will euer bee bound {to} praye for yo[u]r Wor[sh]ips.

Wee whose names are heere vnderscribed doe certifye his maiesties Justices of the Peace & doe beleiue that this is a true petition.
